The french owners, Serge & Hélène, are really nice. The accomodation was just what we were looking for, no luxury, clean and good value! We had diner there every day, we really enjoyed the crêpes of Serge!
- 27 Jan 2011, Mrs Helene G.Serge and Helene are great hosts. We speak a bit French and had a good time here. The guesthouse is basic, but ok and it is only 250 m from the beach. Ilha do Mel is great to relax and enjoy the nature. We would like to return soon.

- 16 Mar 2011, Mr Jozef M.Check In / Welcome: after arriving on the island with all the baggage we would have appreciated if there is help / a guide / a shuttle directly by hotel-employees to get to the hotel. Room: very poor protection against mosquitos (no nets at the windows, no anti-mosquito-candles,..)

- 09 May 2010, Mr Michael M.24 hour reception is overstating - had to wake up the receptionist - he was still groggy and upon check in I was given a dorm room instead of the 1 bedroom suite booked. The room I was given was in poor condition- the toilet flusher did not work I requested a better room the next day and was accomodated.
