Who we are
Bibiana is Brazilian and has lived in Germany for almost 8 years. She returned to her native land in the beginning of 2007, to her hometown Curitiba, opening her business with her husband Ulrich.
Ulrich was born in Frankfurt (Germany) and has been working in the events field since a teenager. He began to work in tourism after meeting Bibiana. He fell in love with the Paraná region and is dedicated to showing its hidden spots to our clients.
Fernanda graduated in tourism at Universidade Federal do Paraná and is responsible for bookings, answering our clients promptly, actualisating rates and other operational tasks in our office.
Guilherme is our trainee and studies tourism at Universidade Federal do Paraná. He is our team member for SEO, social media, content, and many other tech things.
You can read further details about us in our Curitiba Portal.
How we work and what we do for our region
- We are dedicated to offering quality services. We do want visitors to experience the best of our region.
- We prefer to work with locally owned hotels, inns and small chains.
- We recommend restaurants to our travellers that serve local dishes.
- We leave enough time in the tours, so that local handcrafts can be experienced and local aspects of the towns can be shown.
- We do not take more than 12 or 15 people on tours to nature spots (trekking, hiking, etc.).
- We choose responsible tour guides, willing to show our travellers good sights rather than taking them on a shopping tour. We only work with licensed guides and mountain guides.
- We book boat rides from local fishermen to motivate such people to invest in their boats and safety equipment.
- In partnership with a private natural reserve, we are beginning to implement "carbon free" tour options, where we will be planting trees in tropical areas to compensate the CO2 generated by our tours. By the end of the year we will calculate how much CO2 we generated in the office and will compensate this emission as well.
- Our staff takes part in courses on customer service, business management and technology to keep up to date.
- We take part in a group of travel agencies to promote our region and improve service standards.
- And last but not least, we pay reasonable rates and salaries, making local tourism an interesting job option and motivating people to keep learning.
We are very glad now you know more about us and are looking forward to welcoming you here!
