Superagui Experience

The nature reserve of Superagui has in total 33,998 hectares and includes the Ilha do Superagui, the Ilha das Peças, o Vale do Rio dos Patos, and the Ilhas do Pinheiro and Pinheirinho.

There are still many fishermen living on the island and the structure is very simple. Beyond this is a perfect place to spend an afternoon on the deserted beaches or to observe the return of the "papagaios-de-cara-roxa" (parrots with the purple face) which come to sleep on the Ilha dos Pinheiros at the end of the day. The beach Deserta on the Ilha do Superagui is the main attraction of the region, with its 38 km of pristine white sand.

Day 1: In the morning, after your breakfast, your local guide (a non-English speaker) will pick you up at Ilha do Mel and bring you by boat to Pousada Sobre as Ondas on Superagui Island. During the day you have time to walk, swim or sunbathe at the Deserta beach. Your lunch is already included and will be arranged by your local guide. At the end of the afternoon, you will leave the island to see the return of the parrots which are heading for their sleeping places on the Ilha dos Pinheiros. Afterwards return to Superagui for dinner and an overnight stay at Pousada Sobre as Ondas.

Day 2: At your pre-arranged time, your guide will bring you back to Honey Island. Besides the breakfast, no meals are included on this day.

If you wish, your guide can lead you directly to Paranagua, where buses to Curitiba leave. For this service, an additional cost of R$50 will be charged.
