Carioca, as his name says, was born in Rio de Janeiro, and even now, his "carioca" accent can easily be noticed. Carioca moved to Superagui due to his enchantment with the island. He helps Denise to manage the pousada, but his real passion is taking guests on fishing and boat tours in the surrounding areas.
Denise is married to Carioca. She spends her day managing Pousada Sobre as Ondas and taking care of details in the rooms. Everything is carefully prepared to receive the guests. The second generation is already working as well in this family-run-business. Flavio, their son, is married, has a child, and takes the guests on boat tours.
