Pousada Orquídeas is one of the newest pousadas in Ilha do Mel. The pousada has a very close connection to nature, being located right beside a preservation area and surrounded by gardens.
Pousada Orquídeas offers two categories of accommodations:
- rooms with private shower/wc, air-condition, TV and minibar, located behind the restaurant.
- chalets with private shower/wc, fan, tv and minibar. These chalets remind puppet-houses and are not recommend for tall persons, as they are small.
The restaurant opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving preferentially their own guests.
There is a playground for kids.
During holidays, guesthouses have other rates and minimum stay periods. The rates on site are not valid for national holidays.

Other Disclosures:
Pousada Orquídeas is well recommended for families.
- A 100% deposit will be required to confirm your booking
- In case of cancellations made up to 72 hours prior to check-in, 90% will be reimbursed
- For cancellations after this deadline or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged and the rest will be reimbursed
Exception: during holidays and high season (December to March), all nights will be charged in case of cancellation or no-show.
