Charles is half-Brazilian, half-English and came to Ilha do Melin the 70's. A friend of his, flying helicopter over the island, saw that there were good beaches for surfing. At that time, Charles was a passionate surfer from Rio and it did not take long for him to come to Ilha do Mel and begin to enjoy this paradise.
After a while, he met Simone, who has spent summers here since her childhood. Together they opened the Pousada Cyber Café, a meeting place for people who want to use internet, enjoy a delicious coffee or a piece of cake. They also built two guestrooms - perfect for those who want to stay in a place where they can meet other people.
