Pousada Colméia Bee House is a cosy, small and friendly accommodation option in Ilha do Mel. The pousada offers only 4 rooms with capacity to accommodate up to 12 people. Rooms are simply arranged, but carefully cared for and decorated.
Pousada Colméia Bee House also offers a bar and a common living room with sofas and hammocks where guests can share experiences and make new friends.
This pousada building was built back in the '30s, and World War II soldiers used to stay here many years ago. During some weekends, Romulo organizes themed evenings with delicious food.
During holidays, guesthouses have other rates and minimum stay periods. The rates on site are not valid for national holidays.

Pousada Colméia Bee House has a very agreeable atmosphere composed of a social living room with sofas, TV, books, photos from around the world, logbooks, and so on. There is also a Cafe Bar placed in the pousada's front garden, with direct access to the square located in the way to the Lighthouse, also known as Farol's downtown. The bar/restaurant operates only on holidays and high season.

- A 100% deposit will be required to confirm your booking
- In case of cancellations made up to 72 hours prior to check-in, 90% will be reimbursed
- For cancellations after this deadline or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged and the rest will be reimbursed
Exception: during holidays and high season (December to March), all nights will be charged in case of cancellation or no-show.
