Hotel Pousada Marimar Farol at Ilha do Mel has two entrances, one facing the ocean and other on the trail to Praia do Farol Village - it is very easy to find. It was formerly named Pousada das Palmas and was bought some years ago by Cecilia, a friendly entrepreneur. Her sister Zuma manages this Ilha do Mel hotel, offering clean, simple rooms and a good breakfast.
After buying the pousada, Cecilia invested in a renovation and installed air conditioning in some rooms, making them more comfortable during the summer. This Ilha do Mel hotel offers also snacks in a typical lanchonete - a snack parlor, where you can ask for sandwiches and pastries. A barbecue grill is available and guests can make a grill party here. Cecilia's market delivers meat, bread and everything else at Pousada Marimar Farol.
During holidays, guesthouses have other rates and minimum stay periods. The rates on site are not valid for national holidays.
