Pousada Enseada das Conchas is a traditional accommodation in Ilha do Mel. The hosts, Carlos and Sueli, are community leaders and have received guests in their home for the last 12 years.This Ilha do Mel hotel is really comfortable and friendly. The rooms are individually decorated. You can feel the special homey touches the hostess uses to prepare each for guest.
The breakfast is tasty and is served inside the house at a large table, as a big family. The hostess says that the idea is for people to meet each other and make their island experience even more special.
The friendly rooms are equipped with private shower/wc, double and single bed, wardrobe, mini-bar, TV, ceiling fan and very nice bed linens. Recently air-conditioning has been installed, to make it even more comfortable. You have the option to book with air-conditionin or without. In case you do not want this amenity, you will not get the remote control to turn your air-conditioning on.
Hammocks and chairs on the veranda round out the relaxing atmosphere and on the kiosk on the front side you can enjoy fresh made caipirinhas or eat a sandwich, drink a cold beer or eat pizza. For your comfort free wireless internet is available. Some lovely cats live in and around Pousada Enseada das Conchas. Consider this in case you are allergic.
As the pousada is small and does not have much space for kids, the guesthouse only accepts children over 12 years old.
During holidays, guesthouses have other rates and minimum stay periods. The rates on site are not valid for national holidays.

- A 100% deposit will be required to confirm your booking
- In case of cancellations made up to 72 hours prior to check-in, 90% will be reimbursed
- If 2 rooms or more are booked, this rule is applied for at least 96 hours prior to check-in. For cancellations after this deadline or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged and the rest will be reimbursed
Exception: during holidays and high season (December to March), all nights will be charged in case of cancellation or no-show.
