Pousada Caraguatá is a charming pousada on Ilha do Mel owned by Victor Hugo and his wife, Solangela. Victor is Argentinean and has lived and worked in Brazil for a long time, working as an engeneer for an international supermarket chain. Looking for a calmer life he moved to Ilha do Mel in 2002, opened his pousada and began receiving guests from all over the world. Solangela's nickname is "Carneirinho" - little sheep - due to her curly, blond hair. Both are excellent hosts, taking care of all the little details to please their guests.
