Astral da Ilha Pousada - Ilha do Mel

Astral da Ilha Pousada & Gastronomia is a guesthouse with a different vision in Ilha do Mel. Its rooms are very carefully decorated in four different themes: Africa, Bali, Hawaii and India.

Besides the awesome decoration, this is one of the most well equipped accommodation options on Ilha do Mel. You'll find in your room items that almost no other guesthouse offers such as: fireplace, flat screen TV, hair dryer and DVD player.

On the ground floor there is a double bed and stairs leading to an upper floor that is used with another bed. Each room has space for 4 people. In case you are travelling with children, we reccommend these rooms only for kids above 10 years old, as Pousada Astral da Ilha is located besides the Astral da Ilha Restaurant. Both are owned by Guilherme, a passionate surfer who has travelled around the world and some years ago decided to settle down in Ilha do Mel with his family. The restaurant serves different kinds of food like sandwiches, pasta and risotto. During summer months a sushi bar is also available and very popular on the island. Try the delicious risotto with sea-food - very tasty!

This guesthouse is often chosen as a place to propose marriages, celebrate aniversaries and other special occasions. Do not hesitate to mention any ideas you might have to surprise your companion. Guilherme and his staff will do whatever they can to help you.

School surfboards are available in the guesthouse for classes. Rates can be negotiated according to the number of learning-surfers.

The service is very personal and guests are welcomed with a bottle red wine in winter or sparkling wine in summer.

During holidays, guesthouses have other rates and minimum stay periods. The rates on site are not valid for national holidays.
